Its construction is unique, based on the newest yarn technologies, where instead of spinning, the fibres of baby alpaca and merino wool are air blown into a tube, which makes the garments made in this yarn about 30-35% lighter than those made with conventional spun yarns of the same thickness.
DROPS Air is - as its name says - a very airy yarn that feels beautiful against the skin, which makes it perfect for accessories, shawls, sweaters and jackets in both textured and cable patterns. Garments made in DROPS Air are totally itch-free. Yarn Group C.

Un filato "blow yarn" (= filato soffiato) nuovo e molto interessante composto dal morbidissimo baby alpaca e la lana merino bella calda. La costruzione è unica e si basa su una nuovissima tecnica di filatura, in cui anziché filare insieme le fibre, le fibre di baby alpaca e di lana merino vengono soffiate dentro un tubo, il che comporta che i capi realizzati con questo filato siano circa il 30-35% più leggeri rispetto a capi realizzati in filati normali con lo stesso spessore.
DROPS Air è, come dice il nome stesso, un filato molto arioso che è fantastico addosso alla pelle, il che lo rende perfetto da utilizzare per creare accessori, scialli, maglioni e cardigan sia con motivi strutturati che con trecce. I vestiti fatti in DROPS Air non pizzicano. Gruppo filati C.
